The customer is looking to redo all of their property and has teenage kids. The Father loves to entertain and have friends around, a pool is definitely in the scope. The backyard is heavily shaded by a big tree which needs pruning to let sunlight in. They have 2 dogs so need area for them but they want a grass that area that looks good. The block is angular and irregular. The front yard slopes and there is a desire to level it. The front door is not central to the block or house so having visitors lead in and enjoying the façade is a challenge. Customer is ready to build and wants design to be thorough and well thought.

The customer is a single dad with 3 kids, he works in design himself so has an eye for details. He wants to minimise the grass areas although wants a balance of hard and soft areas so has requested plenty of gardens. He understands that this requires more maintenance and wants a watering system designed into the design. The kids are older teenagers so family time tends to be a sit down around a BBQ and enjoy some discussions. Customer wants some features like a fire pit in the backyard and a pond in the front, has also mentioned he would like to grow his own herbs and vegetables. They have no family pets. Customer is happy to take their time through the design process and wants to review each step.
